An early start with training is the best, and easiest way to make sure your cuddly puppy grows to be an affectionate, loyal companion, rather than an unruly hound. My name is Imogen, and My classes will help you establish those necessary boundaries your puppy needs from you.

I’ve owned many dogs through the years, from funny french bulldogs, to robust rottweilers. I know each breed, and even within that, each individual dog, requires a tailored approach to training and learning. Not only that, each family/individual has different needs and experiences with dogs. Puppy training isn’t only about teaching your puppy, it’s about you learning too.

WHAT IS YOUR TRAINING METHODOLOGY?
Although every dog has its own personality, there are some things all dogs must learn. But for your puppy to learn, you must too! I’ll work with you and your puppy together, to ensure you have a full, and clear understanding of your puppy’s needs. Some dogs are quick learners, and are desperate to please; others, not so much. But with consistent application of the tools I give you, you’ll gather the knowledge and know how when it’s comes to teaching your pooch new tricks.
WHICH TYPES OF ANIMALS DOES BERTIE’S BUDDIES TRAIN?
No puppy is too big, or too small. I have experience with large breeds, like rottweilers and labrador’s, to smaller breeds, like frenchies and dachshunds. And training can never start too early, it’s a fantastic way to bond with your puppy! As long as your puppy is 12 weeks to 6 months, and has completed their first course on injections, I am ready to meet you!

WHAT DOES BERTIE’S BUDDIES DO DIFFERENTLY?
At Bertie’s Buddies, it’s a one woman show! Imogen will be the only one who you speak to on the phone, meet, and learn with. This means that you are receiving a more consistent experience in your dog training, and I’ll be able to evaluate your dogs improvement and requirements. I work on a 1:1 basis, which means you get my undivided attention during your session!
